The law gives those who live together outside of marriage or a civil partnership very little protection. We will provide you with advice on the legal aspects of living together. We can help protect your assets by way of a Cohabitation Agreement or provide you with legal advice on what will happen to the property when your relationship breaks down.

4. Children Matters

When a relationship breaks down the most important consideration is what will happen to the children. We combine our expertise with a conciliatory approach in dealing with all Children Act matters.

5.  Divorce and Financial Matters

When any relationship breaks down, be it a marriage, civil partnership or cohabitee relationship there are financial consequences. We can provide you with the best advice and guide you through the sometimes complicated process of the division of the family assets. We have experience in dealing with all aspects of asset division, including pensions, family companies and dealing with high-net worth individuals. The matrimonial home can be a large asset and measures should be taken as
soon as possible to protect your share by severing the joint tenacy.

6.  Domestic Violence

We can provide a broad spectrum of advice in relation to domestic violence issues, including obtaining injunctions and protecting the children. We offer an initial half hour fixed fee appointment at £50 plus VAT. At that appointment we will take your full instructions and provide you with general advice about your legal issues. A full costs estimate will be given to you during that appointment and you will be advised of our individual solicitor's hourly rates.

We offer a weekly evening clinic from 5:30 - 7:30pm each Wednesday, by prior appointment, for people who are unable to see us during normal working hours.
